Worst Brand Placement
Following my previous post about brands appearing in the best films of 2007, here is the clip of what I regard as the worst product / brand placement of all time. It took place in the James Bond movie Casino Royale, which was generally derided for over-the-top product placement. The offending scene was a poorly-executed attempt at one-upmanship by Omega over Rolex. The New Yorker labelled the attempt at product placement horrific and “proposed“ an international ban on Omega watches.
